WHY ARE WE JUST LEARNING ABOUT THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS?
Never in our wildest dreams did we think there would be a direct relationship between money laundering and child trafficking. I don’t know why we didn’t, but I believe it ties back to the lack of information provided to us. Why is the mainstream media not talking about this? Every station and platform obsesses over nonsensical topics and opinions repeatedly, over and over, and yet, I find very little, factual information about the MASSIVE crisis that is Child Trafficking. We are talking about crimes against humanity, and precious, innocent children, no less!
Did you know The Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCen) released an advisory on Identifying and Reporting Human Trafficking and Related Activities? It stated that human trafficking is one of the most profitable and violent forms of international crime, generating an estimated 150 billion dollars worldwide, per year. That begs the question: where does this money go?
Sounds like we need to follow the money and see who is involved here.
Million Kids is our local resource, working fiercely and diligently, speaking out about this crime, and connecting connecting rescued children or potential children of prey to the needed resources.
We proudly introduce, Opal Singleton, President and CEO of Million Kids. She serves, through the organization, as the Training and Outreach Coordinator for the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force and works with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department through a Department of Justice Grant.
